Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Parham Paziraie d/b/a ComeFront ("ComeFront," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our service.

By creating an account and using ComeFront, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

2. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• First name and last name
• Email address
• Username
• Password (encrypted — we never store it in plain text)
• Bio and headline (optional, if you choose to add them)

When you use our features, we store the content you create:

• Agreements, desk items, blueprints, and notices you create
• Your friend connections — who you are connected with on ComeFront
• A profile picture, if you upload one (available while you have active backing)
• These are visible only to you and the users you explicitly connect with

If you choose to back the app, we store a record of each backing contribution — such as the amount, currency, date, and a transaction reference from the payment provider — so we can show your Backer Badge and help with support. We never see or store your full payment card details; those are handled by the payment provider. Your Backer Badge (crowns) is derived from this backing history, and you can hide it from other users at any time in your profile settings. If you have an active badge, we also store the look you chose for your avatar king — a display preference you can change at any time in your profile settings.

3. How We Use It

We use your information only to:

• Provide and maintain the service
• Authenticate you when you sign in
• Send service-related notifications (account verification, password reset)
• Enforce these policies and prevent abuse

4. Infrastructure and Payment Providers

ComeFront uses Supabase for authentication, database storage, and file storage (including any profile picture you upload). Supabase processes your data on our behalf as a data processor, under a data processing agreement.

If you back the app, your payment is processed by Stripe on the web and by Apple on iOS. These providers handle your payment and billing details directly, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies; ComeFront receives only a confirmation and a limited transaction record (such as the amount, currency, and a reference), not your full card details. We do not use any other third-party services that handle your personal data.

5. What We Don't Collect

To be clear, we do not collect or store any of the following:

• Behavior tracking or usage analytics
• Advertising identifiers or marketing data
• IP addresses (our application code does not log them)
• Browser type, operating system, or device fingerprint
• Location data
• Anything from third-party trackers — we don't use them

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third parties for commercial purposes.

Content you create is shared only with users you explicitly connect with. We may disclose your information if required to comply with a legal obligation or to protect against fraud or harm.

7. Friends List Visibility

You control who can see your friends list and whether you appear in other people's friends lists. These settings live in Settings → Friends list privacy and have two independent controls:

• Who can see your friends list — Only me (private), My friends (the default), or Everyone
• Where you appear in others' lists — Hidden, Friends only (the default), or Everyone

You only ever appear in another person's friends list when both of you allow it. If you hide yourself, or the list owner restricts who can see their list, the connection is not shown.

By default, your friends list is visible to your friends, and you appear in a friend's list only to that friend's other friends.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through Settings → Delete Account in the app.

You may also request data deletion by emailing admin@comefront.com. We will confirm when deletion is complete. We may retain limited data if required by law.

You can withdraw your consent to this policy at any time by deleting your account.

9. Children's Privacy

ComeFront is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including password hashing and secure data transmission. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will show it to you again the next time you sign in so you can read what changed before continuing. We will not change it silently. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document always reflects the actual revision date.

12. Disclaimer

ComeFront provides this service as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, security incidents, or interruptions to service.
